Q. Does the Policy Management Unit write policy with University-wide application?

A. No. PMU will assist staff responsible for the creation of policy. Policy Officers' are available to assist at any stage of the policy development process and will:

• edit documents;
• assist with the application of the standard templates;
• advise on separation of policy from procedures and guidelines;
• advise who to consult during the drafting process;
• assist with research and policy analysis;
• help draft the consultation plan;
• recommend the appropriate approval pathway;
• and promulgate approved documents on the Policy@UNSW website.
